UNLEASHING CREATIVITY: A DAY OF FABRIC PAINTING- ELYRIA
"Learning is experience. Everything else is just information." - Albert Einstein
On January 27, 2025, I participated in ELYRIA- a SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) class on fabric painting at my B.Ed college as part of my Semester 1 curriculum. The session lasted from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm and was an enriching experience for me.
As a budding teacher, this experience was invaluable. I was able to explore my creative side, learn new skills, and appreciate the value of teamwork. The students and teachers involved were enthusiastic and eager to learn, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Throughout the day, we learned various fabric painting techniques, including madhubani art and kalamkaari art . We worked in groups to design and create our own unique fabric paintings, showcasing our creativity and imagination.
As I reflect on this experience, I realize that there's always room for improvement. In future sessions, I hope to incorporate more innovative techniques, explore different materials and textures, and continue to develop my creative skills.
Overall, this SUPW class was a resounding success, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to explore my creativity and learn from others.
