"CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF SCIENCE: KUCTE THEVALLY'S SCIENCE DAY 2025"
"Science is the poetry of reality." - Richard Dawkins
On February 28, 2025, KUCTE Thevally celebrated Science Day with great enthusiasm and zeal. The program was a collaborative effort by the three optional departments - Physical Science, Maths, and Natural Science. The entire day was packed with exciting events, including a debate competition, quiz, postermaking, speech, caption, photography, and treasure hunt. The students also showcased their talents through two skits, and the launch of our magazine, PIONEERA, and the screening of our documentary, KOSMOSCOPE. Additionally, a science exhibition was held, where students performed various experiments, including my own invisible ink experiment.
I was thrilled to be a part of the celebrations, contributing to the success of the event in various ways. As a member of the Physical Science Association, AURORA, we conducted the quiz competition, helped launch our magazine, PIONEERA, and assisted in showing our documentary, KOSMOSCOPE. I also played a character in a skit based on the Greeshma case, which conveyed the important message that science and technology should be used for the greater good.
In addition to these activities, I was also part of the science exhibition, where I performed the invisible ink experiment. It was amazing to see the excitement and curiosity on the faces of the visitors as they witnessed the experiments.
One of the highlights of the event was the launch of our magazine, PIONEERA. I was honored to give a message to the readers, encouraging them to explore the wonders of science and technology.
The stage decoration, which was handled by our team, added a touch of elegance to the entire event.
Overall, Science Day 2025 was an incredible experience that brought together students, teachers, and staff to celebrate the spirit of science. I feel proud to have been a part of it and look forward to many more such events in the future.
