"UNFORGETTABLE TRAILS: A B.ED STUDY TOUR ADVENTURE"

"Travel far enough, you meet yourself." - Cloud Atlas

Our B.Ed study tour, a part of our curriculum, took place from May 13th, 2025, to May 17th, 2025. A group of 45 students from 5 optional subjects, accompanied by 4 staff members - Principal Letha Miss, Hindi optional teacher Savitha Miss, English optional teacher Sangeetha Miss, and Office staff Rajeev Uncle, embarked on this adventure. We chose Bluemoon Travels, led by Udayan Uncle, as our tour partners. Each student paid Rs. 6500 for this trip.

The journey began on May 13th, 2025, at 2:15 pm from our college. We danced and enjoyed ourselves on the bus, stopping at Alappuzha for a tea break and Kodungallur for dinner. We reached Chikkamagalore hotel by 9:00 am the next day. After freshening up, we departed for trekking in Chikkamagalore, traveling in 5 jeeps. The scenic views, zip line park, and waterfalls made for an unforgettable experience. We visited Mubarak Zip Line Park, Honnamanahalla Waterfalls, Baba Budan Giri, and Manik Dhara Waterfalls. The trek to Z Point was exhilarating, and the cave temple was a fascinating discovery.

On the second day, we visited Belur for water rides, enjoying boat rides, rafting, and banana rides. We then headed to Coorg, we visited bamboo forest and had dinner at coorg where we stayed overnight and enjoyed a campfire with DJ music.

The next morning, third day we visited the Golden Temple, Namdroling Monastery, and Bamboo Forest. The peaceful atmosphere and stunning architecture of the Golden Temple left a lasting impression. The third day took us to Wayanad, where we stayed overnight near Mananthavady. The dormitory stay was a unique experience.

On the final day, we explored Kuruva Dweep, a serene island with lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. We took scenic photos, played in the water, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. We also visited Pookode Lake, strolling along its shores and taking in the beauty of the surroundings.

As we traveled back to college, we saw Thamarassery Churam and stopped at  Adivaram Wayanad to buy some Kozhikodan halwa. We had dinner in Kozhikode before resuming our journey. The scenic views of the Western Ghats, the laughter, and the memories we created will stay with us forever. We reached our college by 7:00 am on May 18th, 2025, concluding an unforgettable adventure.

My experience during this study tour was truly life-enriching. From the thrilling jeep rides to the serene moments at Kuruva Dweep, every moment was a treasure. I cherish the memories of our campfire night in Coorg, where we danced and sang together, and the laughter we shared during the water rides in Belur. The bond we formed with our classmates and teachers will last a lifetime. This tour not only allowed us to explore the natural beauty of the Western Ghats but also taught us the value of teamwork, friendship, and adventure. I'll always look back on this trip with fond memories and a sense of accomplishment.
